Terry K. Davidson is President of Davidson Land & Water Solutions. As a Professional Engineer recently retired from the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority, he brings a wealth of experience in resource management and rural development after 34 years of commitment to conservation. Terry had numerous positions throughout his career with Director of Engineering & Regulations as the final role at the RVCA where he led a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientist and technicians.
Terry's career included development application review for natural hazards, including flood proofing and geotechnical. He managed flood mapping and flood warning programs at the RVCA. His regulatory responsibilities included the role of Chief Building Official for Part 8 (Sewage Systems), Ontario Building Code for numerous municipalities and Director of Regulations under the Conservation Authorities Act.
Terry had a passion for the onsite wastewater industry where he played a key role in the establishment of the Ontario Rural Wastewater Centre, a training and research Centre of the University of Guelph. As Manager of the Ottawa Training location, he promoted decentralized wastewater servicing through education courses.
